If you want the extraordinary look of a new interior for a fraction of the cost of pricey replacement parts, there’s only one brand you need to know: ColorBond. ColorBond is the leader in cost-effective refinishing products for automotive & marine interior and exterior trim applications

Today we’re gonna showcase ColorBond’s LVP refinisher. ColorBond LVP refinisher is automotive interior paint that bonds to leather and plastic surfaces. Unlike typical cheap paint, ColorBond won’t flake, crack or peel - making it ideal for dashboards, door panels, car seats, headliners, convertible tops and more. ColorBond LVP refinisher is car interior paint that looks great and lasts.

ColorBond offers 148 contemporary and classic OEM aerosol colors for Ford, GM, toyota, Chrysler, Nissan, Honda, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Infiniti, Jaguar, Harley Davidson, and Sea Ray.

To select a desired color, go to colorbondpaint.com and click on the color selector link. Next, find your color and click on the product link. It’s that simple!

For best results, we recommend removing the component from the vehicle. Next, thoroughly clean the component with ColorBond prep cleaner. All silicons and conditioners must be removed prior to application. If you’re refinishing hard trim such as door panels, pillars, consoles, or anything metal, be sure to apply a thin coat of ColorBond adhesion promoter. This will improve bonding and prepare hard surfaces for the color application. Adhesion promoter is not necessary for soft trim and leather.

Now that the surface is clean and completely dry, you can apply your first coat of LVP refinisher. We recommend that you start by applying LVP to a small area - to ensure the color matches as desired. 2-3 mist coats might be necessary. LVP dries to the touch in about 45 seconds. We recommend waiting 10 minutes between applications to ensure proper bonding time.

ColorBond provides a long-lasting, durable finish. After 7 years of testing and collaboration with Ford research labs, ColorBond LVP earned 2 Worldwide Ford OEM Performance Specifications. These highly sought after specifications are the gold standard for OEM performance and quality. For less than $100, any Do-It-Yourselfer can transform and restore the color of leather, plastic, carpet, or metal.

ColorBond has a wide selection of affordable and easy-to-use products available for your next restoration project. For more information about ColorBond products, please visit www.colorbondpaint.com

I used this product on a 96 Cadillac Seville (light shale) and it worked perfectly. I did use a adhesive promoter before I sprayed the paint. The old seats look great!
