Radical Auto Interior Color Change – Colorbond Paint

Radical Auto Interior Color Change

January 14, 2021

ColorBond is used daily to completely change the color and styling of auto interiors with excellent results. Check out the results of these Do-It-Yourself auto enthusiasts who customized their rides with a radical auto interior color change.

Following years of lusting after the Jaguar XKE, Bob decided to live his dream. However, his dream involved a tan interior to go with the British Racing Green paint, rather than the black interior of the car he purchased. Earlier, Bob had a bad experience with an interior dye product from another manufacturer. But when he learned ColorBond LVP Refinisher was not a dye, but rather a molecular bonding paint, he gave it a try. “The car turned out great! People can’t believe I did it myself, and it’s holding up great!” says Bob. He used about $230.00 of LVP Refinisher. A replacement interior would have cost thousands.

Here is another radical auto interior color change.

Craig is an automotive enthusiast who wanted to transform the interior of his 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Low Rider from blue to white. The results are stunning. “At first my friends didn’t quite get the interior paint concept – they were skeptical. They were saying “Dude, you can’t paint your seats! That’s not going to work!” But then they saw it turned out great. I’m really happy with the results and all the compliments I’ve gotten so far. I can punch and twist the soft panels and the paint just doesn’t come off. It was a fun process. I’d totally do it again.” Craig enthuses. Overall, he used 25 cans of ColorBond LVP Refinisher in Cutty White #105, and 5 cans of ColorBond Carpet Stylin’ in Skid Mark Black for the carpet, headliner and rear parcel shelf, totaling $495.00. A professional restyling at this level would have easily cost $5,000.

This owner needed an exact color match.

Babe wanted his Corvette’s seats to match its Velocity Yellow paint, but no leather interiors were available in that color. That’s when he discovered ColorBond. Through his VIN number we matched the color and provided ColorBond Seat Stylin in the correct Velocity Yellow. “The color match was perfect.” Says Babe. “It was hard to tell the leather was painted and the leather remained supple. Other products leave a plastic feel. ColorBond worked just as presented in their demonstration videos on YouTube”.

Of course, ColorBond isn’t just for cars. Motorcycles can benefit too. The color scheme of seat of this 2013 Harley-Davidson Softail Slim FLS was dramatically changed with LVP Refinisher. The bike owner loved the comfort of his existing seat, but thought the color was a bit boring. By restyling himself with ColorBond he had his cake and ate it too! Using LVP Refinisher in Chevrolet Vette Red #098 he got a cool custom look and only spent $16.49! A new quality seat would have been about $350.00…
