Vic Beasley Painted His Car Clemson Colors and it's Awesome

Most of you know Vic Beasley as the star middle linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons. He was drafted 8th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Falcons out of Clemson University. He led the league in sacks in the 2016 season. You probably even bought a Vic Beasley jersey.

But what you probably didn't know is how deep his love for Clemson goes. So much so that when it was time to customize his 2012 Camaro, there was only one way to do it.

Our friend Eddie Black from Eddie Black’s Restoration explains it:

"When the 2012 Camaro came in to us, it was pretty bad shape body-wise. There were no major parts replaced with the exception of the convertible top at a cost of $2000 plus the cost of ColorBond dye. The interior was done with ColorBond dye at a cost of $280. Cost for 24" Forgiato Wheels, paint and tires was about $10,000. From start to finish, a conservative estimate is 350 man hours to complete the project."

The exterior color used is 2015 Lamborghini Orange Tricolor paint by R&M Diamont Systems, donated by Southeast PBE, 59 Maple Ridge Drive Cartersville GA.

As for the ColorBond, they purchased quarts of black, white, red, and orange, mixed them, and then shot the color through a LVHP gun. This is a much more efficient way to paint and allows for a bigger coverage area. Everything was able to be sprayed evenly: convertible top, dash, and seats.

This is one of the best customization jobs we’ve seen. It sure is a great way to show off pride for your alma mater.
