ColorBond Goes to Power Meet in Fredrikstad Norway

You know Norweigans are almost as car crazy as Americans, so it was no surprise that they have some great car shows. This year’s Power Meet was held in early August and featured some of the best restorations we’ve seen in a long time. No doubt, ColorBond was there and distributor Roger Meyer was nice enough to give us a report from the Meet. Here’s his report from the show:

Power Meet has outdone itself again in 2013 with another great show. This year the Meet was located in Fredrikstad and attracted people from all over Scandinavia and Europe who shares a love for the classic American designs. An annual event open to all, Power Meet is organized by AMCAR Fredrikstad in cooperation with an assortment of local clubs. This year the event attracted 400 -600 cars.

Surrounded by car enthusiasts of all types, the judges had a tough time judging the many find entries and ultimately awarded prizes to those with the best restoration.

Of course no show is complete with showing everyone the type of job ColorBond can do. During the Power Meet I spoke with countless people throughout the day and display our Mercedes-Benz 450 SL restored with ColorBond by owner Tore Sollund with the help of Tommen `s Customs in Sandefjord, Norway. A complete interior renovation was performed using ColorBond’s interior paint for cars as well as supplies to create a beautiful fresh from the factory look that everyone wants.
