Before painting, the engine surface needs to be properly prepared. First, by cleaning and then sanding to remove any rust or loose paint. ColorBond’s Pro Tech Prep Cleaner, a multi-use aerosol solvent cleaner, is perfect for eliminating road grime and grease. Simply spray on and wipe the surface down. Reapply as necessary.

Once the engine surface is clean and dry, mask off areas not to be painted to protect from overspray. ColorBond Pro Tech Engine Enamel can be now be applied. Keep in mind that two cans may be required for complete coverage. Allow 24 hours to fully cure and enjoy!
