ColorBond LVP works great on carpet. ( it also works on leather, vinyl and hard plastic).
The most important thing to know when working on carpet is it needs to clean and free of any debris.
The CB LVP bonds to the substrate. If is not cleaned well, it will bond to the debris and the carpet.

    • Answer

It depends on the size of the mat and the color. We do not recommend drastic color changes on carpets. To freshen up a floor mat, one can should be enough to refinish multiple mats (mat only not the complete carpet).

  4. Answer

    ColorBond – January 4, 2024

The best way to match your color is by your VIN#. You may call your local car dealership and ask them for the color name that was used when your car was manufactured. Many times, they would like to give you a color #, but you want the COLOR NAME. That name will match up to the ColorBond Paint name. Please keep in mind that the existing interior colors will fade at various degrees. Therefore, we cannot guarantee to match your interior color.

Yes, you can change the color of carpet from black to red. Depending on the saturation of the base color, you may need to put down a light gray paint first to stop the black from showing through the red. Please call the office for more details.

I have tan carpeting right now but I’m thinking about changing it to more of a gray. Would there be any issues with that?

    • Answer

I do not think this should be an issue. Where you can run into issues would be if you have a dark carpet and want to change it to a lighter color.
