Using Corvette Interior Paint for a Color Update

Ed Iverson did a great job restyling his C5 Corvette with our Corvette interior paint. He tells us about his Corvette project:

I just wanted to let you know how your great product line helped me successfully change over my Corvette's interior, while staying within a tight budget. LVP Refinisher and Carpet Refinisher were the products that transformed my tired dated interior into a custom modern cockpit!

I wanted to send in my experience with the ColorBond products for you to consider adding to your website's blog, as it could be of help to those fellow Corvette owners who might be considering a similar update to these cars that aren't getting any younger!

For your consideration, here is the link to a thread I created which chronicles the process of the project -https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c5-general/4388311-colorbond-the-seats-5.html#post1601402637

I originally intended to only recolor the seats with Corvette interior paint, and the beginning of the thread reflects that. After seeing the newly colored seats in the car, it became evident that the carpeting needed an update as well. In fact, my wife insisted on it, after seeing how nice the seats turned out!

Overall, I used four cans of LVP Refinisher in BMW Cinnamon, and five cans of Carpet Refinisher in classic Black. A bottle of Prep Cleaner and a can of Adhesion Promoter.

All told, I spent just under $170.00 for a complete interior makeover!

The average price of "synthetic leather" seat covers is $250/pair, real leather seat covers average at least $400/pair, with only a few color options available. A new replacement carpet would have cost $350 to $600, dependent on quality of carpet pile.

I'm not that good at math, but even I can see that the savings, combined with my ability to choose from over 180 colors, adds up to ColorBond being the clear choice!

Again, thank you for providing such an easy-to-use product line that even a novice DIY enthusiast can achieve professional results with!

Respectfully,

Ed Iverson

We thank Ed for sharing excellent transformation and congratulate him on a job well done!
